North Burleigh Surf Life Saving Club
McLauchlan & Partners are proud to announce they have joined forces with one of the Gold Coast's leading Surf Clubs, North Burleigh Surf Life Saving Club to help support the volunteers and surf patrol members of the Club.
Working with the Community is important to McLauchlan & Partners and the team are very excited to be working with such a fantastic Club.
McLauchlan & Partners will work with the Management and team at the North Burleigh Surf Life Saving Club in a variety of areas and support through sponsorship, financial tips, education seminars and to also help raise much needed funds when available.
To kick off this brand new relationship, McLauchlan & Partners have donated Gold Coast Titans game day tickets for a select number of games for the Club to raffle off and raise funds for the volunteer Club.
The tickets will be raffled off at the Club with 100% of the monies raised to be donated directly to Club benefiting those members who donate their valuable time to help.

Pizza & Poker Charity Night ~ Friday 19 March
McLauchlan & Partners Financial Planners hosted their Inaugural Pizza & Poker Charity Event on Friday 19th March and raised $2245 for local kids charity Paradise Kids at Arundel.
Over 40 people attended the event held in the Bundall offices enjoying Pizza and beverages whilst testing their skills on the Poker, Roulette and Blackjack tables.
It was great to see so many people enjoying such a fantastic evening and raising money through raffles and prize draws throughout the night.
Professional dealers were on hand to help the novices learn the games and to enjoy a very authentic expereience.
Congratulations to Michael who won the Poker tournament and to Mary who ran second both taking home some fantastic goodies.

Movember ~ Friday 27 November
The Movember Foundation raises awareness and funds for men's health issues, focusing on Prostate cancer and depression. Each year during the month of November men sign up to the Movember cause growing their mustaches while raising sponsorship donations for the foundation.
In November 2009 Business Manager, Andrew McLauchlan signed up to the Movember initiative joining over 128,000 other Australians by “growin a MO” and helping to raise money and generate awareness for men's health issues, specifically prostate cancer and depression in men.
On Friday 27 November, we hosted two inaugural McLauchlan & Partners Movember Mash Up luncheons in two separate locations. A boys lunch was held at the Titanium Bar in Surfers Paradise whilst simultaneously hosting a girls lunch at Beluga Bar & Restaurant in Main Beach.
Between the two events 72 guests attended and enjoyed a fabulous lunch whilst raising more money through raffles and games throughout the afternoon.
A total of $3,626.55 was raised between the two lunches through ticket sales, raffles and prizes contributing to the Australian total of monies raised over $17.5million.
The Movember initiative involves “Mo Bro's” growin a Mo (moustache) to help raise awareness and much needed funds for the Movember Men's Health Partners Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia and Beyond Blue.

National Breast Cancer Foundation Pink Triathlon – 17th of October 2009
The Annual Breast Cancer Foundation Triathlon Pink has expanded into a 7 event series with new events in Hobart, Adelaide, the Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast, Sydney, Melbourne and Perth. The triathlon is an all female event where both individuals and teams can participate. As an avid cyclist, our office manager Linda Adams takes part each year raising money for the foundation.

Perry Cross Foundation Golf Day – held on 7th of October 2009
Founded by Perry Cross, a quadriplegic and motivational speaker, the Perry Cross Foundation provides vital support and funds for researchers in their hope to find a cure for paralysis and other critical illnesses.
The Perry Cross Foundation Golf Day raised over $30,000 in much needed funds towards their goal of finding a cure. It is one of the biggest corporate golf day events on the Gold Coast and we are proud to be supporting this annual golf day.
Norco Milk Cap Donations
Each day at McLauchlan & Partners we order milk for our tea and coffee. Norco Milk, the brand we use donates 10c for every cap we collect to one of our local schools, Benowa State School. Both our clients and staff love our coffee so finding caps are never a problem. If you would like to participate and support Benowa State School we would gladly pass on your Norco caps with our collection.
